Hello From Elder Fitt

Hi hi hi,
This week has been alright, I hope everyone else's was better. It was transfers week so it was really hectic, especially in Rapid City, since its one of the main hubs for transfers. But finally on tuesday evening I got my new companion, Elder Davis. He's from Oregon, and a pretty cool guy, just needs to speak up a little bit. Its been interesting since I'm pretty quiet to take the lead role a lot, but its helping me grow, which is great.
But ya, the week has been really slow. We did a lot of tracting and were able to get one new investigator named Alex, a 20 yr old or so native man who is kinda floating through life but wants religion in it. So we were able to deliver a pretty good lesson, he could have some prospects.
This is probably gonna be a pretty short email. We did get to attend a baptism for Chance Martin, an investigator of our Zone Leaders. It was a really good event, but kinda sad a little bit because the man baptizing him took about 7 tries to do it right...I was so glad I was able to do it right the first time, I was blessed. But either way, it was still good, and it has to be done right, since the Lord's house is a house of order.
Other than that we've been working hard, but not many people have been home. I sent a ton of pictures home so hopefully they will be posted somewhere soon.
Other than that things are going well, a storm hit us last night and is gonna be around for a while, yay more snow! But its good I guess, I'll probably miss the cold once summer hits.
Well I hope you all are doing well. Remember, when the going gets tough, don't forget to turn to the Lord. Without Him we are nothing. The other day we had an interesting discussion about obedience and how it is the governing principle of the universe basically. Probably got a little too deep for our own good, but it helped really put into perspective the idea that man is less than the dust of the earth because the dust obeys its creator. It has perfect faith that God will never change and thus it does exactly what it is supposed to. As we draw closer to the Savior and begin to align our will with His, we will see the blessings that obedience grants us in our lives and will be able to put all our trust in the Lord and not fear.
Well, have a great week everyone, and be an "example of the believers" everywhere you go!
Love,
Elder Fitt
